Shipment conditions:

Please note the following when applying these charges:

  • These charges are based on railway cart capacity, which ordinarily consists of two 20ft-containers or one 35, 35, 40, or 45ft-container. If the 20ft container fully occupies a car (as if it is a 40ft container or two 20ft containers) then a charge of SR 1, 300 is applied.
  • As for transporting moving equipment on railway carts, they are charged based on an equivalent size to 20ft or 40ft.

These charges include the following services:

  • Charges for transportation from Dammam Port to Riyadh’s Dry Port, in case the agreement is to deliver at the Dry Port or to the goods owner’s warehouse if it was so agreed.
  • The service of unloading the train and storing the goods during the specified period and delivering them to their owners.
  • In the case of delivery at the owner’s warehouse: returning empty containers from the Riyadh warehouse to the Dry Port in Riyadh.
  • In the case of delivery at the Dry Port in Riyadh: returning empty containers to the warehouse of the ship’s agent in Dammam.

These Charges do not include the following:

  • Fees the Dammam Port charges from the goods owners. There is an option to collect such fees from the owner at the Riyadh Dry Port on behalf of the Dammam Port to facilitate the process if the goods owner so wishes.
  • Customs duties payable on goods.
  • Customs clearance fees.
  • Any fines or demurrage charges resulting of the actions of the goods owner.
  • Fees for electric supply to the (refrigerated) container for periods exceeding 3 days from the container’s arrival date, on the basis of SR 200 per additional day.

Charges of storing refrigerated containers as following:

  • First 3 days: SR 20 per ton or fraction of a ton.
  • Fourth day onward: SR 20 per ton or fraction of a ton, per day.
