SRO’s Board of Directors is chaired by HE Dr. Jobarah Al-Suraisry,
Minister of Transport; and is comprised of the following members:
- HE the SRO President; Eng. Abdul Aziz Al Hokail
- HE the Assistant Deputy Minister for Industrial Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Esam Al Mubarak,
- HE the Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Mineral Resources
Affairs, Engr. Sultan Shawli,
- HE the Assistant to the Director General of Customs for Customs Affairs; Mr. Sa'ud Al Fahd,
- In addition to two businessmen, namely: Mr. Khalid Al Bawardi and Mr. Abdul Hadi Shayef.
SRO’s Board of Directors responsibilities include issuing all decisions and internal bylaws to organize SRO’s administrative, financial and technical operations; proposing personnel-related bylaws; approving SRO’s proposed budget; endorsing the proposed annual closing account; and approving tariffs for cargo and passenger transportation as well as other services provided by SRO. |
